The Governance Structure
The governance of the Natchitoches Tribe of Louisiana non-profit 501c3 corporation is comprised of a Board of Directors and Officers. We name them according to standard business corporate law, and call them by our Tribal titles.

Peggy Smith, Board Member and Treasurer/Vice-President/Vice-Chief

We are interconnected with Volunteer Committees
Two Board of Directors lead each committee. They are called Liaison Board Directors. They prepare volunteer applications for their specific committee and make the selections of volunteers who will serve on each committee. They keep the “human value” time logs on each volunteer. The Liaison Board Directors make reports to the full board on the activities of each committee. The full Board approves the actions requested by each committee.
